9th INTERNATIONAL GROUSE SYMPOSIUM

and post-symposium excursion 24 August - 31 August

The 9th International Grouse Symposium (IGS) was held in China, at the Central Hall of Sciences and Technology in Beijing, between 18th and 23th August . It was followed by an excursion including a field visit to Lianshuhuan Nature Reserve.
Access to some pictures taken during the symposium was available for some time on the 9th IGS web site, now closed (http://www.cnbird.com/english/9th/index-9.htm). Papers
Ilse Storch is Wildlife Biology´s Associate Editor for publication of papers from the 9th IGS. A selection of 19 high-quality contributions from the 9th International Grouse Symposium (China, September 2002) are published in issue 4/2003 of the international scientific journal Wildlife Biology.
