EVENT
The 9th International
Grouse Symposium (IGS) was held in China, at the Central Hall of
Sciences and Technology in Beijing, between 18th and 23rd August .
It was followed by an excursion including a field visit to
Lianhuashan Nature Reserve.

for some time on the 9th IGS web site, now closed

photos of people, animals, plants, and the famous Chinese Grouse

Papers
Ilse Storch is Wildlife
Biology´s Associate Editor for publication of papers from the
9th IGS. A selection of 19 high-quality contributions
from the 9th International Grouse Symposium (China, September
2002) are published in issue
4/2003 of the
international scientific journal Wildlife
Biology. All papers
submitted for publication have been peer-reviewed according to the
Wildlife Biology´s ´normal standards.
